Mitra Nahreini

Mitra Nahreini moved to U.S 25 years ago and is a Nurse Practitioner living in San Diego. Years ago she was fascinated by the realistic paintings Of a famous Iranian artist “Morteza Katouzian”. But never thought of pursuing or even taking painting classes herself until 2015 when her life totally changed due to a series of unpleasant events. By her son’s encouragement to start painting classes as a hobby she instantly fell in love with painting.

In 2016 she found a great Iranian artist by accident in San Diego and since then she paints with love and passion. Painting has a special place in her heart. She paints mostly realistic in different subjects but enjoys having some fun with acrylic painting as well.
